Description: The Migration Crisis which is characterized by a chaotic process of reuniting thousands of migrant children and parents separated by the “zero tolerance” policy poses great psychological risks, both short- and long-term. This conference enhances utilizing a bicultural perspective to engage traumatized migrant Hispanics. English speaking and/or bilingual attendees will learn how to apply bicultural group and family therapy interventions geared at addressing trauma.  A panel comprised of community based organization leaders will enhance understanding of the current crisis surrounding immigration policy and neighborhood approaches. Demo- experiential trainings incorporated throughout Day- long conference to strengthen skills and interventions.
